Professors from the Faculty of Science at Vancouver Island University will be putting on a public science show called �Extreme Science�. The show is for all ages and will feature some very exciting demonstrations from Physics and Chemistry. The show is a fund raiser for LED Africa (Lights for Education and Development in Africa). LED Africa (www.ledafrica.org) is a charitable organization created in order to provide solar powered lighting to rural secondary schools in Malawi. Tickets ($10) are available at Kool & Child, 208 Wallace St. All funds raised from the show will go directly to the charity.
