The beautiful sacred drum dates back as far as the Mother Goddess times over 6,000+ years ago... and you'll find that almost every culture holds some kind of sacred drum within their cosmology...

The drum represents in essence, the heart-song, the pulse + voice of our Mother Earth, Gaia, Great Goddess - who goes by many, many names... Do you hold or carry a sacred drum... is your drum very special to you? ​Were you 'called' to make or 'birth' your own sacred drum? ... or perhaps a drum was gifted to you... and so... now what? Weaver has been offering sacred drum circles and sacred drum birthing workshops for many years - and often she hears folk say, that now they now have a drum, that they really don't know what to do with it. They mention that their sweet drum sits in a corner untouched or un-played. If you feel you would like to know more about how to deepen your spiritual relationship with your own sacred drum - weaver invites you to come and spend the day with her to explore the many aspects of what is possible to build upon the partnership of your dear drum.

Weaver will guide you to learn how you can deepen your spiritual relationship with your own drum – exploring healing, journeying and history/herstory of the drum and how to build a partnership with your drum.... plus, we'll have lots of fun learning songs and chants drumming together for the day... Offered through the 2018 Gabriola Isle of the Arts Festival (IOTA)... 20 participants max...
