Vancouver Island University’s Centre for Pre-Confederation Treaties and Reconciliation is pleased to present Exploring Reconciliation, a free monthly lecture series that aims to stimulate community dialogue.
On Tuesday, February 6, Chief Robert Chamberlin, vice-president of the Union of BC Indian Chiefs and a member and co-founder of the First Nations Wild Salmon Alliance, will discuss: Wild Salmon: First Nation & Crown Reconciliation Challenges. Chamberlin's talk is the third in the series; Dr. Judith Sayers, President of the Nuu-chah-nulth Tribal Council, spoke in December, and Adam Olsen, MLA of Saanich North and the Islands, delivered a talk in January.
