Come and explore the beauty and wonder of the Botanical Beach Tide Pools. This is one of the most special places on the Island. The tide pools were created by large hard rocks being tossed by the waves on the softer sandstone. Slowly the rocks wore holes in the sandstone. Sea urchins further enlarged these holes making little hollows to protect themselves from the surf. These pools are now teaming with marine life.
