Crystal and Samantha Cashmore are back to entertain audiences after completing their first of 4 years at the American Musical & Dramatic Academy (AMDA), a Private, Elite College in Los Angeles, California. They are both classically trained Sopranos who for the past 10 years studied with Andrea Bertram of Andrea Bertram Studios in Nanaimo as well as 3 years with Joanne Hounsell in Victoria. For the past 8 months they have had the incredible opportunity to study with Luann Aronson (Christine Daa� -Phantom of the Opera on Broadway). Crystal had been the Upper Island Music Theatre's (UIMF) Classical Voice Representative to the Provincial Level for 9 consecutive years, however, their singing prowess is by no means limited to the Classical genre. Samantha was the UIMF Musical Theatre Representative to the Provincial Level for 4 of her last years prior to attending AMDA. Crystal was our very own Nanaimo Idol in 2006 and both girl sang in the VIEX Songbird Competition for many years, Crystal taking the title in 2008. As sisters they have a unparalleled blend of their voices when singing duets and will be performing some fan favourites as well as some new surprises in all genres being performed. They are excited to be home and to have the opportunity to perform for their very supportive community and long-time fans. Please come out for a wonderful�Evening of Song� and support them as they continue on their journey to fulfill their dreams. They will leave for the start of their second year 2 days after the second performance, so don't miss out!

There are 2 performances after receiving requests last year for an alternate date in the hopes that all those wishing to attend will be able to make it. Please note the format for both nights is different, however...

On the 19th, the evening will begin with a selection of Classical Art Songs and Opera and continue after a brief intermission with the Musical Theatre portion. All performances will be accompanied by the extremely talented Donna Falconer of Long Lake Music on piano!

The evening of the 26th will begin with Musical Theatre and will follow with Contemporary Music after the intermission. The Musical Theatre portion of this evening will have some repertoire that is different from that performed on 19th

Both Evenings will feature solos and duets!!

There will be a silent auction as well with many beautiful baskets/items donated by local merchants. A huge thank you to our Generous Donors!

Doors open at 6pm, silent auction items will be available for viewing/bidding at that time. Concert will start at 7pm.
