With decades of performing experience and a repertoire that ranges from classic Latin ballads and traditional folk songs to energetic American Rock, Eva Kabande delivers a musical performance unlike any other. Her unique voice is deep and powerful with a rich, velvet quality and profound emotional resonance. She was interprets classic Latin folk songs and passionate Mexican ballads in uniquely beautiful, and refreshingly original ways. She sings and plays perfectly integrated classical guitar accompaniment.
Eva’s musical and cultural roots are in Jalisco, Mexico. This special night in Victoria is part of her debut Canadian tour. Her busy, cross-Canada festival schedule includes Mariposa and many other large scale events. However, her performance in Victoria will be intimate and particularly appealing those seeking a quality musical entertainment experience without the “festival overwhelm”.
