Ready to get into the Christmas Spirit? Esquimalt will be shining as it kicks off the festive season by hosting its 8th Annual Celebration of Lights.
Mayor Barbara Desjardins will be participating in the celebration along with members of Council.
The event will begin with a parade at 6 p.m. featuring Santa and festive parade floats. The parade starts on Lyall Street at Canteen Road heading east, turning north on Admirals, then east on Esquimalt Road to Archie Browning Sports Centre. Once the parade arrives at the Sports Centre, the light-up celebration begins.
The light-up celebration will run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the rear parking lot and features a visit from Santa and refreshments.
