You may know that the Englishman River begins on Mount Arrowsmith and provides healthy habitat for salmon, but did you know that it is also the source of our drinking water in Parksville? Come see this river through the lens of Drinking Water and Watershed Protection, and celebrate Drinking Water Week with a hike through this beautiful ecosystem guided by RDN and City of Parksville Water staff. Participants will meet in Englishman River Regional Park, at the entrance at the end of Allsbrook Rd. Be sure to dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear!
