A public workshop to answer the question "What Can I Do when I Witness Violence Against Women?"
The workshop is sponsored by CFUW Nanaimo (Canadian Federation of University Women), in co-operation with Haven Society
The session will focus on effective strategies for responding to all forms of violence, including bullying and harassment, in a way that is safe for everyone involved. Many people want to help when they know a family member, a neighbour, a co-worker, a friend or even a stranger is being harassed or bullied or is experiencing violence of any kind. But it is often difficult to know how to do that.
There are incidents of violence of all kinds happening in our communities every day. We will be talking about how to respond to these situations in a safe and effective manner.
Tickets include continental breakfast.
