Imagine the vintage-era village of Heritage Acres, bathed in dramatic lighting and accented by glowing hand-crafted lanterns, carved pumpkins and creative decor. This is the backdrop for costumed performers, live musicians, projections and artistic installations which enliven every beautifully weathered corner of this heritage setting for Enchanted Halloween.

This is the fourth year of this beautifully-eerie Halloween wonderland, with artistic installations, costumed performers, live music, Halloween crafts, festive food and treats, creative lighting and projections.

Enchanted Halloween is presented by Children's Health Foundation of Vancouver Island in partnership with Shine*ola Communications and Events. The event is a fundraiser in support of children and youth with health challenges on Vancouver Island.

Enchanted Halloween includes:

* Unique art installations including The Ghost Wedding, Fox Talk, Eye Spy, the Magic Mirror, Thriller Pumpkins, and more.

* Train rides by Vancouver Island Model Engineers

* A decorated Pumpkin Trail, featuring interactive costumed characters and treats

* Specially carved pumpkins, handcrafted lanterns and illuminated giant puppets

* Creative projections, classic cartoons, theatrical lighting and special effects

* Halloween-themed games, hands-on activities, kids' crafts and seasonal refreshments musicians, magicians, stilt-walkers, performers and storytellers to add life and richness to the displays and activities

* Food vendors, an Enchanted Emporium of crafts, treats, giftware, and many other fun surprises

* Free covered parking and shuttle service from Gateway Park on Keating X Rd. (No onsite parking except for disabled)
