No experience is necessary for this one day introduction to encaustic painting & collage class. We will collage thin papers between layers of wax and add some pastel for soft colour enhancement I’ll have lots of collage materials available for you to play with and you can also bring along some of your own. You can work in any style you choose.

Topics will include: a brief history of Encaustic, controlling your paint, adding paper, safety issues and home set up. Most students leave class with 2 – 3 finished projects. Confirmation, directions to my studio and additional information will be emailed to each student upon registration. Space is limited to 4 students so classes fill quickly.
