For the first time on Vancouver Island, world-renowned performing group, the Embrace China, will perform at our local Port Theatre co-hosted by Nanaimo Chinese Cultural Society.

The Embrace China (TEC) was founded in 2008, teaming up the very best Chinese dynamic artistic performing groups that showcases the traditional dance, singing, opera and acrobatics etc.,

This active group is dedicated to strengthen the cultural exchange between China and the world. In the last decade, this talented group has successfully performed over 650 events in countries worldwide, including England, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Argentina and the USA.

In the evening of Sept. 6th 2018 6:30pm, TEC will present their concert in this beautiful BC Harbour city, Nanaimo, featuring an eclectic vocal section of songs, remarkable dance, unique Chinese Opera, plus amazing acrobatic to celebrate ancient custom. This concert is sure to have the audience laughing, tapping their feet, and maybe even shedding a tear or two….
