Elizabeth Ellis, the most celebrated storyteller in the United States, is back by popular demand. She came last year and her show sold out. We were delighted when she agreed to return to Parksville one more time to delight us with her stories.

Raised in the Appalachian mountains, she left the "holler" to seek her fortunes and a better job in Texas where she raised her family. She combines the wisdom of her upbringing with the folk tales she has learned from a lifetime of storytelling.

"Tougher than Woodpecker Lips" focuses on what life throws at us. In her own unique style, she will be showing us that laughter is sometimes the best way to cope.
