Nanaimo Ceramic Art Gallery is proud to present Einfühlung feeling into, a solo exhibition by visual artist Teresa Dorey. Through her sculptures and photographs, Dorey's work calls to empathy. Empathy is best defined by its etymological origin, the German einfühlung which translates as feeling into. Dorey's ceramics are punctuated by her perennial interest in how our emotional and physical selves converge and are shaped through our encounters with objects in our environment.
