Keeping your irrigation system functional through minor maintenance can save both time and money. This free information session covers how to review your irrigation system to identify problems and concerns. Reduce your water consumption by identifying leaks, breaks, and over-watering. Can you identify the problem? What is involved in the repairs? When to call a contractor to address problems with your system and what to ask of your contractor. This workshop is intended for existing systems but can be useful if you are planning a new system, as initial installation practices can have long-term effects on maintenance and water costs. Course instructor is a local member of the Irrigation Industry Association of BC. An overview of CRD Water Conservation programs will be provided.
