Eat, Pray, Love: The Fairfield Connection Series Deepen belonging and spiritual growth in a safe, curious and creative space.

This two-hour community gathering will enrich your life with meaningful conversation, stories, singing, art and food! Get to know your neighbours as you expand your sense of the world. All ages, all family styles, all genders, and all experiences are welcome. “It’s like a monthly party in your friend’s living room. I went the first time to say hi, and left surprised by the conversation with people I expected to be very different than me. So I went a second time and was thrilled my neighbours remembered the conversation, too. Now I go each month to learn more about myself and these new people I care about.” – Gail, Fairfield resident

At each event, you are invited to: - Hear stories relevant to topics current with our lives today - Get hands-on with an art project - Sing along to familiar popular tunes accompanied by live music - Ask and answer questions about the universe without judgment - Find out how others came to and continue to live in Fairfield - Share a delicious meal in comfort The details: When: Third Tuesday of each month, September 2015 to May 2016 Time: 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm Where: Fairfield United Church, 1303 Fairfield Road, Victoria, BC V8S 1E3 (lower hall off of the Moss St entrance)

About the host: Beth Walker is passionate about building connections for her community. As a former interior designer, she understands the power of comfortable, safe spaces to inspire stories and create life-changing moments. Today she is one of the lead ministers at Fairfield United Church and the co-founder of Eat, Pray, Love.

Accompanying Beth is a team of facilitators so you are never alone in starting conversation! Christine Nichols (Storyteller), MarLynn Fitzergald (Host), Trica Sanders (Chef), and Gordon Miller (Musician).

First event: September 15, 2015 There is no financial cost to attend although donations towards meal costs are welcomed on site.
