Earth Day Freecycle Event

The Live Free Leadership Team is hosting a Free Cycle Event on Earth Day. Our goal is to create a waste-free community. People can drop off items between 8am-11am and pick up stuff between 2pm-6pm.  We hope to reduce consumption by offering free items to members of our community. We want to make sure that items have a second chance to be used before they go to the landfill or off for recycling.

The place:  Long Beach Lodge Resort, downstairs function room
Drop off time:  8:00am - 11:00am
Pick up time:  2:00pm - 6:00pm

Drop Off Guidelines:

+ We hope to collect: clothing, footwear, towels and blankets, office supplies, kitchenware, small electronics, lamps, books.
+ Please sort donated clothing by labelling your boxes/bags with sex (womens, mens, boys, girls) and size.

This initiative is a student project for the West Coast chapter of Leadership Vancouver Island.
