The Early Music Society of the Islands presents �Sacabuche! (USA): The Golden Era of the Polish Baroque at the Alix Goolden Hall on Saturday, November 2.

EMSI delights in bringing to its audience neglected masterpieces. On this occasion, the musicians of �Sacabuche! (singers, sackbuts, violins and organ) illuminate the works of Jarzębski, Mielczewski, Szarzyński and Zieleński, Polish composers who, in the seventeenth century, adopted the emerging idiom of the Italian baroque with brilliant results.
