About Mark Robertson and Bullfrog
Singer-song-writer, multi-instrumentalist, producer, main instigator for Montreal�s internationally acclaimed pop band � Bullfrog, currently known as robertSon. Steeped in funk, heavily rooted in old R�n'B, cool and smooth like jazz and soul, crooning melancholic love songs with tongue in cheek lyrics, romantic as Samba yet subversive as Reggae. RobertSon has toured internationally as Bullfrog (Rope-a-Dope/WEA), with KidKoala (Ninja tunes), as bassist for Money Mark.(BeastieBoys) and with his own One man Show.
On stage RobertSon sings, plays guitars, bass pedals, sampled drums, looping beats and instruments and effects, backed as in the studio by long time Bullfrog collaborators, Peter Santiago�bass and drums; Max Sansalone�drums; Johanna Peters�percs. /vocals' Aron Doyle�trumpet; and featuring other guests keeping things spontaneously fresh and always interesting .
