Camille Miller performs at the new Duncan Showroom on June 26 with Murray Atkinson.
Purchase tickets in advance at www.showroomproductions.ca/buy-tickets or at the door.
Camille Miller wrote her first protest song at the age of eleven in response to the injustices of being grounded. She continued to write during her early teenage years as a way to express the frustrations of life as an army brat. Music was an early outlet for Camille to express her true feelings. It still is today.
Born in Germany and raised on military bases all across Canada, Camille grew up on Motown, Carly Simon, The Carpenters, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder and the Rolling Stones. These artists shaped Camilles musical tastes at an early age, and were the voices that put her to sleep at night and still provide comfort to her as she brings an updated version of vocal grace and soul of yesteryears to her modern pop sound. http://camillemillermusic.blogspot.ca
