Vancouver born singer songwriter, Victor Magnussen began writing music at the age of 15 and at 19 got his professional singing job performing with a 6 member vocal group called Sweet Majac for CBC television series, �It�s a Musical World.� That was followed by years of traveling from gig to gig and recording many of his original songs with some of Vancouver�s best session musicians. Circumstances, however, took him away from his passion for performing for many years until just over a year ago he began to dust off his music and begin performing again. His music has been often compared to the likes of Billy Joel and Eva Cassidy. Ask Victor what kind of music he plays, and he�ll say, �Come and listen and you tell me.�
More recently he has teamed up with one of Krakow�s most talented guitarists, Tomasz Zapala, and they have been busy performing around Krakow at many of the more popular live venues.
If you have a chance you should really try to catch them, especially at an even such as Massolit Books. Here they will be performing unplugged, so it should be a very interesting night.
