Ingrid Gatin born and raised on the Canadian prairies, dramatic landscapes and endless skies have fed Ingrid�s imagination since she was a child. She credits her innovation to piano lessons in her aunt�s home at four years old, to the wildness of surrounding nature, to small towns, and swings.
Twin Voices is an indie folk project with roots in the Ottawa Valley and wings in Montreal. Lead member Laura Beach crafts a dark and lovely sound with imagery that draws on a life lived between small towns and cityscapes. Live-looping of violin, voice and guitar make for a performance that is equal parts stunning simplicity and playful complexity.
