Discover the Magic of Christmas in downtown Duncan on the last Friday of November. This enchanting event is full of sparkling joy as the streets fill up with jolly shoppers and familiar tunes of Christmas cheer.

Take a tour around town and be enchanted by the playful and sophisticated windows created by our passionate shopkeepers. Be sure to grab a program from the Info Booth in City Square which features the Christmas Mascot contest who will be hiding out in shop windows with a clever name to help you name the store that it’s in.  Find them all for your chance to win Downtown Dollars.

Music fills the air with the sound from many community bands, choirs, and school groups, who grace the crowds with their wondrous talents. Be sure to capture a splashing performance from a local band in City Square. Meanwhile, grab a hot chocolate or mocha from one of our downtown cafes or the many community service groups who fundraise by selling freshly baked goods and piping hot drinks.

Back by popular demand is the Christmas Kick Off hayride! Saddle up for this fun and exciting ride around the town and join in the charming carol sing-a-long to set the mood for the season.
 
Of course, it wouldn’t be Christmas Kick Off without Santa’s courageous ascent onto the City Hall roof top (thanks to a helpful lift from the town fire fighter) and the whole event will be capped off with a sparkling display of Celebration Fireworks sponsored by the Merchants of Downtown Duncan.
