Dressing Up History: Nursing Uniforms and Professional Identity Fashion Show

In honour of Florence Nightingale's birthday (May 12, 1820), Vancouver Island University and the British Columbia History of Nursing Society are excited to present a parade of past and present nursing costumes and uniforms.
The nursing costumes are part of a collection of 25 uniforms developed for the British Columbia History of Nursing Society by Sheila Rankin Zerr. Many of the uniforms are authentic and have been worn and donated by nurses who practiced in hospital, public health and in military service.
All are welcome!
