This temporary exhibit is a mix of textiles and artifacts from the Courtenay and District Museum’s social history collection centered on the theme of bedrooms and sleeping.
Sound like a bit of yawn? That’s the point!
We humans spend about one third of our lives sleeping. That big chunk of time is being given its historical due through this display which also includes local stories and anecdotes.
Dreamland provides a great opportunity to show off some of the wonderful donations received over the years. It is an exhibit that gives the museum a chance to share more of the collection with the community.
