In this course you will learn to think about abstraction in drawing and make the transition from representational drawing to making marks, shapes, forms and textures that combine to create completed works of art.
The course will give you a comprehensive background on artists who have used drawing as an abstract language through the 20th and early 21st centuries. You will use a wide range of drawing materials for projects that focus on process, experimentation and innovation. No drawing experience is necessary.
