This is a continuation of Drawing Projects I. Using the text, Drawing Projects: An Exploration of the Language of Drawing, as a point of departure, the instructor will present projects that address further development of a mark making vocabulary, working with tone, and considerations of time as a component of drawing. Projects will invite exploration of materials and process as students develop a personal approach to subject matter. Assignments will be supplemented with examples from contemporary artists who work with drawing as their primary medium. Students will work from a model, still life, photographs and the imagination. Preqequisite: Drawing Projects I or some drawing experience. Recommended Textbook: Drawing Projects: An Exploration of the Language of Drawing.
