Dramatic performance of 'Word of Light: St John's Gospel in the Flesh'

Please welcome Rev Dr Angus Stuart, from St Francis in the Wood Anglican Church, West Vancouver, BC, and his dramatic performance, 'Word of Light: John's Gospel in the Flesh'. Angus has memorized the Gospels of Mark and John and has adapted them for dramatic performance in collaboration with artistic director, Carol Ann Coulson. "This was stunning - thank you so much for a wonderful evening out... Amazing! The presentation was inspiring and gripping - never over acted, never a monologue. Just a joy to be there." Since 2010, Angus has given over 70 performances thoughout the UK, USA, and Canada. Angus has begun offering the two Gospels in retreat and workshop contexts, as well.

Angus arrived in Canada from England in 2005 to become Rector of St Francis in the Wood. Prior to this, he was Senior Anglican Chaplain at the University of Bristol and Curate at St Mary the Virgin, Twickenham in the Diocese of London. He trained at Cranmer Hall in St John's College, University of Durham, and holds Bachelor Degrees in Geography and Theology. His PhD was obtained researching the experience of aging in a rapidly changing environment.
