In a relaxed, upbeat and playfully productive atmosphere, Sandy will guide you in a step by step process to create a dramatic floral painting in acrylics. Instruction will focus on: canvas preparation, transfer of image through gridding, brush control, color mixing, and use of light.  Specific techniques to build depth of color will include: blending, glazing, layering, scumbling and underpainting. Finishing to archival standards will be discussed and demonstrated.

Sandy will show you her process of creating a piece from start to finish and demonstrate her painting technique. She will give one on one instruction related to your specific enquiries and coach you through your challenges.
