Various ways to play around with the amazing possibilities of collage. We�ll loosen up with a number of approaches and exercises to stretch that old familiar cut-and-paste. More about process than product, we may draw or paint into collages, then overlay other collage material.

Dorothy Field has worked with weaving, handmade paper, artist�s books, and dry-point prints, but collage has always been bedrock she returns to. Her work has been shown all over Canada and the US. She is the author of numerous books. The latest is a volume of poetry Wearing My People Like a Shawl (Sono Nis).
