Donna ion's optical abstraction of the forest into swatches of colour create a mosaic representing dapled light. Her paintings detach the viewer from reality into sensual pleasures one experiences deep in the woods.
Rob, on the other hand, captures infinite detail by evoking the mood of the scene portrayed in his vision of the essential West Coast atmosphere. Clouds play a significant role in his wide format images.
