Don Alder was recently nominated for a 2016 Western Canadian Music Award. In August 2015 he received a Domenic Troiano Guitar Award. His music is all original, easy listening, for people who love jazz, folk, blues, bluegrass, roots, and world music.
With his special fingerstyle and percussion technique he can make his acoustic guitar sound like a four piece band. Don is also one of the world's top harp guitarists, and he'll bring his harp guitar along to Vancouver Island in July.
