With rapid changes in technology allowing almost anyone to tell their own story, people's interest in making documentary film is rising.
The Vancouver Island South Film & Media Commission is holding this panel, as we hope to educate and inspire you so that you have a better understanding of what it means to make documentaries today. We have invited accomplished local documentary filmmakers, industry advocates and funding organizations to speak about the process of taking non-fiction ideas from concept to distribution. The event will end with a Q&A so that you can ask the experts your questions.
