Dirty Laundry is an engaging, one-woman two-act play written and performed by Marilyn Avient (Nanoose resident). This entertaining drama is a courageous, no holds barred, true story that plunges into the never-talked-about world of mental illness . . . exposing the stigma, the burden on loved ones, the private suffering of the individual, and the very real hope for recovery.

Since being in Nanaimo last Fall, Dirty Laundry has performed in Sidney BC (5 performances), Whitehorse YK (2 performances), Dawson City YK, Banff AB, Canmore AB (2 performances. We are delighted at the response by the audiences wherever we have travelled, and have been blessed with standing ovations at every venue. After performing in Nanaimo, Dirty Laundry will be heading to Alberta for performances in Calgary and Edmonton early in the New Year.
