Tickets: $80 or $160/person - RSVP required - Limited Spots Available. ($80 to take home a necklace or earrings OR $160 for both necklace and earrings)
In this two-hour workshop, participants are introduced to the art and cultural significance of creating dentalium earrings and necklaces. Participants are shown different earring and necklace designs, along with demonstrations on stringing dentalium shells, adding beads, and securing clasps for a polished finish. Under the artisan’s guidance, attendees choose their materials and learn traditional crafting techniques that blend dentalium shells with beads or metals. By the end, each person leaves with a custom-made pair of earrings or a necklace and a deeper appreciation for the artistry and tradition behind these timeless adornments.
