2017 was a big year for DEF3. Not only did he rock stages at Festivals and shows around North America further establishing him as a force in both Canadian hip-hop and bass music, but he released the incredible Small World, one of 2017's finest albums, in any genre. Small World finds are hero digging deep within himself, bringing a personal and conscious bent that is desperately needed in the time of mumble raps. His nimble rhyming and infectious stage presence are sure to get Lucky Bar hot and sweaty with hip-hop glory.

To help reveal the full scope of our groove-love, Victoria's own Mt. Doyle is going to be dropping some sweet bass including drum 'n' bass, glitch and funk, while flanked by Mcs ORILLA and LUCEO, for a wholly unique performance. Rounding out this Friday night party is Ska & Reggae Fest family SCRAM & THE FIRST TEAM, one of the hottest new hip-hop acts in the city. This night is shaping up to be something truly special.
