Debussy, Chausson, Ysaÿe - Exploring French Chamber Music - Campbell River Performance

This concert, featuring four musicians based in Victoria and Vancouver, will feature chamber for strings and piano, written by French and Belgian composers, all written in the 19th and 20th century. The musicians comprise of Derek Stanyer, pianist, an active collaborative musician in the Greater Vancouver Area, Tyson Doknjas, Campbell River-Native who is a Victoria-based Violinist with the Victoria Symphony, Hannah Craig, a member of the Victoria Symphony and named in CBC's “30 hot Canadian classical musicians under 30” list, and Kathryn Wiebe, a Modern and Baroque Violinist with various ensembles and projects in Victoria and Vancouver.

Violin Sonata - Claude Debussy
Piano Trio, Op. 3 - Ernest Chausson
Amitié, for Two Violins and Piano (arranged), Op. 26 - Eugène Ysaÿe
The concert will be performed to a small audience at the Quadra Island Community Centre in a physically distanced environment. It will last approximately 65-80 minutes, with no intermission and no refreshments served.

Seating is extremely limited, so please order early to avoid disappointment. Admission by donation.
