Tim, an aggressive lawyer and his geeky scientist friend are short a couple players for their regular Friday night poker game. Bob, a nervous lab worker, hesitantly agrees to invite two new neighbors to the game. Tim soon finds out that one is a lawyer embarrassed in a case the previous year. Meanwhile, Bob falls madly in love with Svetlana, a powerful female Russian assassin. Surprisingly little poker is played as they try to figure each other out.
