This panel is part of WorldVIU Days and the 2nd annual Intercultural Hip Hop Forum. These events take place annually at Vancouver Island University, exploring identity, culture, and community. Montreal hip hop, soul, R&B, and soul singer Meryem Saci speaks about the role music and rapping has played in her life from her early years in Algeria and leaving for Canada to where she is today. The session will be conducted mostly in French. Both native speakers and French language learners of all levels are encouraged to attend.
