This two-day workshop is an investigation into the relationship of photography and general studio practices, focusing on techniques and concepts that utilize photography within drawing, painting, and sculpture practices. Learn techniques/ strategies that utilize the potential of photography such as; improving composition and ways of seeing, manipulating photographs for both 2-d and 3-d applications and creating and documenting ephemeral work.
d bradley muir holds a BFA, Concordia & an MFA from UVic.
His practice focuses on contemporary photography, sculpture and performance. He has taught at the UVic, Camosun College & Van. Is. School of Art. Muir continues to publish and exhibit on an international basis, including Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto and New York. http://dbradleymuir.ca
