VCM Presents Daniel Lapp’s Home for Christmas Concerts!
Each year, Daniel Lapp’s Home for Christmas concerts enhance the holiday cheer for audiences filling Alix Goolden Performance Hall. The exceptional musicians on stage range in age from pre-teen to the very wise and everywhere in between.
This year’s special guest is Juno Award-winner Cara Luft, founding member of the Wailin’ Jennys, now with The Small Glories. This singer-songwriter-guitarist has earned a solid reputation as one of Canada’s finest live performers. Cara will be performing in all three shows!
The shows also feature renowned local groups, the Shiny H’ornaments, Swingin’ Shepherds, and the Strings of Lights. Daniel legendary ensembles also join in each year, including the BC Fiddle Orchestra, Folkestra, and Joy of Life Choir. Every year, somehow Daniel manages to fit all of these performers on the stage, for the big “finale”. You won’t believe it until you are there singing along to the traditional tune “I’ll be Home for Christmas”. There’s no better way to warm the heart as we enter in to the Christmas Season.
