World Premiere Performances!
Aerwacol is a play by Toronto playwright Sean Dixon. Originally produced by Theatre SKAM in 2000, performances ran indoors at the Belfry Studio, outdoors at an abandoned railway platform in Toronto’s West Donlands, and outdoors under Vancouver’s Burrard Street Bridge. SKAM Remixed is a yearlong program of four projects that revisits and reinvents past productions by Victoria’s top alternative theatre company. Commissioning Paul Destrooper to adapt a gritty work of outdoor theatre and bring it under the roof of contemporary ballet is, for SKAM, an unconventional choice.
