Daniel L�veill� and his six-member company have been at the fore - front of contemporary dance since the mid-1990s. Icebergs is one of a triptych of pieces, danced in the nude, that was inspired by L�veill�s interest in street youth. It is formal in composition but raw, energetic and blunt in its movement. The tension between form and style combine to create a surprisingly poignant work.
