You may recall David Raymond and Tiffany Tregarthen of Out Innerspace Dance Theatre (Vancouver) from their duet entitled Me So You So Me: an audience favourite at the 2014 Dance Days Festival. When it played in Toronto a few months later, Globe and Mail critic Martha Schabas said “Both Raymond and Tregarthen are captivating…It’s a treat to see this talented and boldly imaginative company touring Canada. Lucky for us, they’re planning another national tour in 2016 to debut a new ensemble piece.” Dance Days is thrilled to have the premiere of this new ensemble piece, right here in Victoria.

About the New Work

Playing with private and public conflicts between the “Insiders” and the “Others,” Raymond and Tregarthen are creating a dynamic dance work with startling design elements. Replete with videos, live projection and moving set pieces, this new group work pushes at the edge of contemporary dance pulling together disparate ideas to form a an explosive, cohesive whole.
