The rumours are true...DAMO SUZUKI is coming back to Nanaimo on Sunday May 11th 2014 for a sophomore visit to our fair town. As Damo has said to us "it's a really nice space to charge my energy"! We agree, and you are invited to join us in our endeavour.
Seeing as we'd already hosted Damo with full space rock backing at the Globe last year, we decided to rethink the presentation of this next one. For a total change of pace we chose St Andrew's United Church, Nanaimo's heritage church, built in 1893, and a truly awesome room sound-wise!!!
Backing Damo this time around will be representatives from the CYMATICS RESEARCH INSTITUTE, including local luminaries from such acts as Top Men, Colliding Canyons, Moths & Locusts and Sweetboxx. Sound for the show will be handled by Steve Adamson from VI Sound, and visuals will be done by the one and only Kris Vieaux.
