Cystic Fibrosis Fun Night Dinner and Auction

The Nanaimo Chapter of the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is in the mood for celebrating! Along with marking the foundation's 50th anniversary, the chapter is hosting its ninth annual charity Fun Night Dinner and Auction. Tickets are $35 for adults and $15 for those under 16, and those under 5 are free. Tickets are available at JT Flair in Country Club Centre, Tourism Nanaimo, and at Beban Park or by calling 250-753-5386. All proceeds will go to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Cystic Fibrosis is an inherited fatal disorder that affects primarily the lungs and the digestive system. One in 25 Canadians carry the gene that causes CF. If two people both carry the gene their child has a one in four chance of inheriting cystic fibrosis.
