Come celebrate the spirit of the season in the heart of Cumberland on Friday Dec 16th! Celebrate with friends and neighbours, support the amazing businesses of the Village and come together to celebrate kindness, generosity and the best of Village life!

Be sure to visit Santa and his elves in Cumberland's Village Square Friday December 16 from 6:00 - 7:30 pm. There will be hot apple cider and cookies for the kids, a chance to hand deliver their letter to santa, crafts and a dance party with Frosty!

Singers of all ages can join Kevin Flesher for seasonal carols at 6 and a little wassailing through the downtown at 7!

Come early for some unique shopping adventures or stay late to find some treasures! Many of the local businesses will be open late so it is a great opportunity to finish your Christmas shopping (or start it!). Special events in the spirit of the season are popping up throughout the Village so keep your eyes out for updates!

This year the Village is going to share its generous spirit with the wider Comox Valley with the first annual Fill the Truck Food Bank Drive!

Donations of cash and coins, non perishable foods (please check the best before date!) diapers, toothbrushes, toiletries are all encouraged. Help to make the holidays a little brighter for many in our community. When you drop off your donation you can enter to win a fabulous Shwinn Cruiser Bike and Canuck Game Tickets courtesy of the Waverly Hotel, Cumberland Hotel and a Family Pass to the Tube park courtesy of Mt. Washington Alpine Ski Resort.
