Culture & Heritage Paint Out 2016: Bringing culture and heritage to life in an artistic race against time!
Artists meet at 11:00am on August 13 at the EJ Hughes Gallery, and are randomly designated a spot in downtown Nanaimo to set up and paint a cultural or heritage subject (artists choice) at that location.
At 2:00pm, artists meet back at EJ Hughes Gallery with their completed paintings for judging and prizes. Pre-registration is required. Cost is $10 to participate. Cash prizes to be won. Register online. For more information, please City of Nanaimo, Culture and Heritage department by email. Deadline for artists is August 12.
