This is one event featured in the Creatively United for the Planet Festival Sustainability Showcase in celebration of Earth Day. Our mission is to celebrate social innovation, unite community and achieve a more just and sustainable world by inspiring individual, community and global well-being. The afternoon will feature a free public art-making workshop with live music. Bring the whole family!
You can also join international award-winning artist Franke James who will lead a hands-on Green Conscience workshop suitable for all ages. Expand your mind and learn techniques from a creative genius who understands fun. No art experience required. Price is $40, plus tax. All materials included. In addition, we are hosting Hawaiian elder Puna Kalama Dawson, a highly regarded keeper of ancient Hawaiian wisdom. She humbly and generously shares the vast spiritual knowledge of her lineage by facilitating ceremony and healing, hosting cultural exchanges in all parts of the world, especially Europe, Japan, Mexico and North America.Her stories, songs and mastery of Hula makes her visit to Victoria one not to be missed.
Cost is $15 plus tax.
