CR Art Expo are launching the new Art Show, with a Gala Event held on the evening of May 26th.

This is a Gala with a difference where you will see original works displayed by selected acclaimed artists, who will be auctioning some of their prize pieces to raise funds for an art project that will be placed downtown Campbell River.

To add to the grand theme of artistic creations, award winning chefs, Joe Volke and Dennis Vaughn will be displaying art in food that will not just be a taste sensation but will set the stage for a new and creative style in feasting never seen before in Campbell River.

It doesn't stop there, musical instruments, have been painted by our own home grown artists. Also local brewers, distillers and wine makers will be sharing their craft and art in drinks. A fun black and white dress event, (any black and white you like, doesn't have to be fancy), the idea is to let the colour in the Art, food and room take over this event.

Come and mingle with the artist an have the chance to win a piece of art or purchase a piece of art during the auction. The Auction items include, Original art, painted instruments, and a culinary experience. Held at the Maritime Heritage centre starting from 6.30pm on May 26th.
